The card and bow.

Here I go again with those wonderful paper bows. I found some wrapping paper that was white, brown and baby blue. Obviously, the baby will be a boy. So, I went to work to make a coordinating card and bow. The bow turned out lovely, even without using DS paper. I just used the regular SU! cardstock. The card I loved! I think that I will use it for my next workshop. It was so quick and easy, yet I think that it looks wonderful!!

A Baby Shower Gift.

A while back, I had seen this idea in a Stampin' Up! Stampin' Success magazine. I loved it. Well, I have a baby shower to attend and the father works on a dairy farm and mom is a flight attendant. I thought that they would enjoy this. I expanded on some of the original ideas! And, I was pleased how it turned out! Hopefully, the new parents will enjoy it too!

I had a 6 hour card making marathon with some of my stamping buddies on Saturday. And, over yesterday and this morning, they are complete!! Now for the addressing and signing!! I used SU! Bravo Burgundy and Brocade Blue. I am pleased with the outcome!!!

Another Paper Creation!

I would like to start off this post, by giving all do credit to my good friend Keri, who inspired me to do this blog thing. Not only do I love sharing what I create, but even more seeing other blogs and what others create!!! Thanks Keri!!!!

This box was made with just 3 sheets of 12 X 12 cardstock! And, I must say that it was not that difficult at all!! I found the tutorial on another blog. So, simple and neat!!! The possibilities are endless....baby gifts, teacher gifts, Christmas, birthday....where to begin!!! Thanks so much for looking!! Have a great day!

Paper Bows

When I woke up this morning at 4:45, I knew that I had to get up and be productive....I just didn't know what I was going to produce. So, as I was browsing the internet, I found a bow tutorial on SCS. OMG!!! I have never done anything so easy!!! I whipped out four of them in no time. And, now I know what one of my projects will be this week at my workshop!!! I think that the ladies will love these!!! All you need is a 6" X 12 " piece of double sided paper, 3 brads, 3 pop up glue dots and adhesive. Now, I know what I am going to do with all of the extra paper that I have!!!! SCS is a wonderful place...go check it out!!!!

A simple Christmas Card.

I have been designing many Christmas cards this year! I love to make them...and, since I don't want to 'publish' the one that I am going to be sending to all of my friends, I will upload others! This was so easy! And, I must say that the picture does not do it justice!! IRL it is stunning, if I do say so myself. I used lovely as a tree and whisper white craft ink. Then I embossed it with winter white EP. It is so fresh and crisp!! Now, I wonder if I made the wrong decision for our Christmas cards???

Getting Ready for Christmas!

I can not believe that I am saying this, but it is time!! It is time to get all of those little gifts out of the way, that can be kept safe until Christmas. One of the things that I will be mass producing this year are the peppermint pattie covers! They are so easy and so cute!!! You can stamp with any set that suits you!!! I have used "bits and pieces" of several Christmas sets! They take virtually no time and I think that people will love them. I hope that they will be able to eat them. Some people have even added ribbon to them and you can use them as ornaments, too!!!

Rainy Day = Scrapbooking!

Lucky for me it was a cool wet day. So, I took the opportunity to scrapbook some soccer pages. I used SU! True Thyme and Basic Blact to keep these pages nice and crisp. I wish that I could get paid for this!!!

The "other" page.

Here is the opposite page to the other soccer page. I guess that I should get back up there and make some more pages while I am in the mood! Happy scrapping!!!

A Holiday Workshop Project!

Last Friday, I held a SU! workhop here at my house. One of the projects that we made was a Christmas Tree Ornament. They are so simple to make and the ladies seemed to really enjoy them. The picture doesn't quite do them justice, but trust me they are stunning!!! I used SU! classic ink refills (real red, cool carribean, baroque burgundy and brilliant blue) with dazzling diamonds to create these 4 ornaments. I have in mind to make many more of these for teachers gifts, bus driver gifts and grandparent gifts! I better get working on them as Christmas is just around the corner! Have a great day!!!!

Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween!!! I have been busy creating these "favor cones" for the boys' classes. They were actually quite simple, once I got the hang of it. I simply used a piece of 6 X 6 non SU! (shame on me!!!) Halloween cardstock and folded them. I put an eyelet and some ribbon at the top to use as a hanger. The boys were thrilled with them and I hope that their classmates agree!!! Good luck Trick or Treating! Which by the way, is not my favorite thing in the world to do!!!!

Birthday Card Exchange!

This month the SUDEMOONLY CCS theme is birthday cards. This is the card that I came up with to send to my 5 lucky recipients. I used the SU! True Friend stamp set. I also used SU! Naturals Ivory, Garden Green, Ballet Blue and Night of Navy Ink and Papers. Now, I all that I have to do is wait to get my list of names to send the cards to. Then, the hard part...waiting to receive the cards that will be sent my way! I love the ideas and cards that I receive. When I get them, I will post them!! Have a great weekend!

The Facing Easter Page

Posted by Picasa

And, the last of today's uploads!

These two pages are from Easter...could you tell? I used some Crative Memories Paper (the plaid) and SU! paper and ink to make this layout! This will be the last of today's uploads. I should get better at doing this daily and I wouldn't have to do it all at once!! Have a great day and go create something fun!!! Enjoy!!!

Another Simple Page Done!

Yes, simple is the name of the game. But, I managed to work in another new stamp set! These are the pages that I love to do, they are simple and get the pictures on the pages! And, at this point I need to get as many done as I can!
This is a trip that I went on with the Kindergarten. We went to local nursery and each child got to make up a pot of flowers for Mother's Day. The flowers were beautiful! It was just what we needed at the end of a long Winter!!

Catching Up on Some Much Needed Scrapbooking!

I am only about a year behind on my scrapbooking, okay maybe not quite a year. But, I have been neglecting it to say the least. Here is a quick and simple page that I did. I used markers to create the scissors on the background. Then I cut out some pencils and added them with dimensionals. This set is so darn cute, and it will come in so handy for all of my school pages! Now, if I can only keep the momentum I will be done in no time!

Trying those Faux Icicles.

I have read so much about making these icicles. And, then I went to a family gathering and a friend showed me the card that she made using Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds. I did it directly on the card and was fairly pleased with the outcome. Now, I can't wait to do it at a workshop and see how excited my girls are when they learn something new. Not only will they learn something new, but something that is extremely easy to duplicate. All that you need to do is apply the Crystal Effects in a straight line. Then I took a toothpick and stretched the CE down to make it resemble icicles. Wa-La! Now, I am thinking that I have time to try it with black glitter and do some scary Halloween cards!!! The colors that I used here are SU! Garden Green, Bayou Blue and Ruby Red. Go ahead, try some of your own icicles!!!!

Catching Up on Some Stamping!

I was trying to find an excuse to get this set out and stamp with it. I decided to use my SU! Markers to create with. The bashful blue, ruby red and wild wasabi colors are quite a compliment to the stamp set. Now, I should keep busy creating some more!

Excuse the sun and my purse!

Here is a picture from the 2nd wedding. This is my husband and I with my cousin Megan. Too bad that we took the picture facing the sun and that I didn't ditch the purse! I hope that you can get the idea! We had a fabulous time at the reception. And, once again I was reminded that I am not 18 anymore!! Those were the days, when you could go out and function the rest of the weekend on 4 hours of sleep! It is a week later and I still have not caught up on my sleep!!!! Have a great day!!!!

Tonights Workshop Cards.

Tonight I am having my monthly SU! workshop. These are the three cards that we will be all making together. I had a great time with these three cards! It seems to me that Fall is my favorite Season to create cards for. They just come so easy!!!The first card uses Very Vanilla, Really Rust, and Chocolate Chip paper. I used markers to create the flower and the words, by coloring directly on the stamp. The apple card is using Rose Red, Basic Black and Whisper White paper. I colored the apples with the SU! True Color pencils and the bucket with SU! Metallic pencils. Although you can't tell from the picture, I covered the apples with a coat of crystal effects to make them stand out. The 3rd card was created with Pastels and the masking technique! I hope that my guests enjoy these cards as much as I do!

An On Board Bitty Book.

Another gift that I created for a friend. Here is SU's On Board Bitty Book. I covered it with several of their "In Colors." I used the SU Pick a Petal Set and some Hodge Podge Hardware.
